Year Four and Five are currently enjoying their PGL trip and i have created a space for parents to see some of the exciting events. I look forward to updates throughout the week.
Dear Milverton,
As you can see, we are having a smashing time, but as you can see are also having a difficult time keeping clean! We start our exciting adventures tomorrow, including kayaking, zip wire and Jacob's ladder.
Have a great day!
Year 4 and 5
Day 2
Greetings!
Today's weather was absolutely brilliant; you truly could not ask for nicer conditions. Milvertonian's experienced adventures in kayaking, sensory trailing, low ropes, and the zip wire. Here are some more photos from the day's events. It was so pleasing hearing the encouragement that the kids gave each other from event to event.
Curiously, as I type this...I hear not a sound in the building. For some reason, the children were a little tired after the day's events. Perhaps Mr. Kirkland will get a full night's sleep?
Stay tuned, for more updates!
Mr. Hjelvik
Day 3
Dear Milverton,
Today, it’s Wednesday. We are having a good time. We’re about to do high ropes…it’s really scary, but really fun! It’s rained today- we hear that you lot sent it to us! Karen, we miss your food so much, what’s for lunch next Monday?
Your friends,
Ellie and Lauren xxx
Greetings Friends,
Today was a fun day apart from the weather. Group 3 had loads of fun on the sensory trail. However, Mrs. Crossley kept throwing items at the children. Before that happened, we were on the zip wire. It was really, really fun; even though we had to put all that gear on.
See you,
Dominic
Day 4
Dear Friends,
I’ve done high ropes, climbing, challenge course and quad biking today. High ropes was really scary at first, but then I got confident and it was a lot better. Climbing was really difficult because we had to do it in the pouring rain. Challenge course was good, because we all helped each other. Quad biking was great because we didn't’t have to break.
Bye for now,
Jamie Wilson
Hello all,Today we (Mr. Kirkland’s group) did rock climbing, challenge course, vertical challenge and archery. I think for me the challenge course was most painful, because I lost the feeling in my back. Rock climbing was almost impossible because we lost the feeling in our hands. It was really cold this morning. This afternoon the vertical challenge was great because it was really warm, and we had Lana, our group leader from last year.
See you,
Josh
Dearest friends and brother Bertie,
I had a great time on the high ropes, and was able to make it to the top! I had the honor today of winning the best dressed person at the disco last night. I loved the challenge course, and we had a great time running through all of the obstacles.
