2010 Examination Progress
This year children will be participating in numerous examinations in preparation for their secondary school allocations. We look forward to hearing of the results later in the school term. I am sure they will make parents and the school very proud of their achievements and hope that the Summer term proves as rewarding as the rest of the year. Well done everyone!!
As the examination period draws to a close towards the end of January life in Year six becomes a little lighter. The ever popular minority sports programme including rock climbing, ice skating and ten pin bowling becomes part of the weekly activities as children are given the opportunity to explore a wider range of sports and activities. The children will also be crating Rainforest art work and projects throughout the summer term. These are chosen by Mrs Miller and the children and have included First Aid projects, Victorian Projects and Art projects to mane a few.
During the summer tem the children will also be able to stretch their legs with a trip to Normandy to be immersed in the French way of life in the annual field trip. This includes visits to local attractions and WWII sites of interest. A fantastic opportunity for the staff and children to explore other cultures and expand their historical studies.
