In keeping with the whole ethos of the school, much importance is attached to life outside the classroom - whether it be visits to places of educational interest to support and complement topics being studied or activities with a more physical or recreational bias. Residential trips are arranged for the older children.
As children progress through the school they are also encouraged to join in after school activities, where groups are able to pursue particular interests such as Drama, Music, Netball, Football, Ballet, Cookery, and computer technology.
Stimulating children’s imagination and helping them bring their ideas to life.
Holiday schemes operate for various weeks in the main holidays from 7.45 am to 5.30 pm for Pre School to Year 6 pupils.
A great variety of activities take place during these sessions and the children have an enjoyable time. Trips are arranged for the children and activities are also organised in the school. The school utilises the art and craft studio on site and the gymnasium for fun activities and games.
After School Club operates from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm each day during term time, where children from Pre School to Year 6 may relax in an informal atmosphere under the supervision of members of staff.
During this time the children may be provided with a snack style tea and drinks are always available.
